Hidden Truth
This poster shows how you can hide some of the text in a title and still leave it legible. It can be a good way to make a title have more visual appeal. It makes it more interesting as an image and also as a peice of text
Is this type?
Interstate
The Interstate typeface was designed by a man named Tobias Frere-Jones in the period 1993-1999. It is quite similar to the series of typefaces used on road signage in the U.S., FHWA series fonts.
Due to Interstate's wide spacing, it is best suited to display text. The ascenders and descendersbeing cut at an angle and the open counters aid legibility in this context aswell.
Tobias designed another typeface based on Interstate, Whitney, which works better in general print and body copy.
